MERIDIAN, Miss. (Queen City Newsfeed) – Firefighters responded to an early morning structure fire in Meridian on Friday, July 3.
According to Meridian Fire Chief Michael Evans, crews were dispatched at approximately 5:58 a.m. to an abandoned structure in the area of 5th Street and 52nd Avenue, behind Fire Station No. 3.
Firefighters quickly brought the fire under control, and no injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
