LAUDERDALE COUNTY, Miss. (Queen City Newsfeed) – A portion of Vimville Causeyville Road will be temporarily closed next week as county crews work to replace a drainage pipe.
The Lauderdale County Road & Bridge Department announced the closure will take place on Tuesday, April 14, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. while crews remove and replace an existing cross-drain pipe.
Officials said the project is aimed at improving drainage performance and supporting the long-term stability of the roadway.
The affected section of Vimville Causeyville Road will be closed to through traffic during the work, and motorists are advised to use alternate routes.
Emergency services and other appropriate agencies have been notified of the closure.
County officials said an update will be provided once the roadway has reopened.
