LAUDERDALE COUNTY, Miss. (Queen City Newsfeed) — The Lauderdale County Road and Bridge Department has completed the first cross-pipe replacement on Vimville Causeyville Road, and the roadway has reopened to traffic.
Crews are scheduled to begin the second cross-pipe replacement Wednesday, Oct. 21, as part of the ongoing road improvement project.
The section of Vimville Causeyville Road between the 5974 and 6032 blocks will be closed to through traffic from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday while crews complete the work.
Motorists are encouraged to use alternate routes, slow down and exercise caution near the work area. Drivers should also watch for heavy equipment along the roadway.
The department thanked residents for their patience and understanding as crews continue improvements to Lauderdale County’s roadways.
