MACON, Miss. (Queen City Newsfeed)- Authorities are searching for an inmate who escaped Friday from the CWC facility in Macon, according to law enforcement officials.
The escapee is described as a Black male with long hair worn in a ponytail. He was last seen wearing blue pants and a gray shirt.
Law enforcement agencies are conducting a search in the area and advising residents to remain alert. Anyone who sees the inmate is urged to call 911 immediately and not approach him.
Officials have not released additional details as the investigation and search continue.
