The Meridian Ballet will present its annual production of The Nutcracker on Dec. 12 and 13 at Meridian Community College’s McCain Theatre, offering a holiday performance featuring local dancers and guest artists.
The production showcases members of The Meridian Ballet, with senior apprentice company member Josie Shuler performing the role of Clara. Professional guest performer John Mingle and prima ballerina Rani Higgins will join the cast for this year’s presentation.
The first performance is scheduled for Dec. 12 at 6:30 p.m., followed by a matinee on Dec. 13 at noon. Both will take place in the Davidson Fine Arts Building on the MCC campus.
