PHILADELPHIA, Miss. (Queen City Newsfeed) – A man wanted on multiple felony charges in Neshoba County is now back in custody.
According to the Neshoba County Sheriff’s Department, Reginald Triplett returned to the Neshoba County Detention Facility after his arrest out of state. Authorities took him into custody in Cleveland, Ohio, just a few weeks ago. Today, he arrived at the detention facility at approximately 2:00 p.m.
Previously, Queen City Newsfeed reported that Triplett was arrested in Ohio on March 27, 2026. Since then, officials have worked to bring him back to Mississippi.
Officials say USTE/Global Solutions, a private prisoner transport company, handled the transfer.
Earlier, Triplett faced 18 felony charges issued through the Neshoba County Circuit Court. After his arrest by the U.S. Marshals Service in Ohio, officials arranged his return.
Meanwhile, Sheriff Eric Clark stressed that deputies will continue to track down those who try to avoid arrest.
“Anyone attempting to evade charges or avoid court will be located and returned to face justice,” Clark said. “We will use all available resources to make that happen.”
Now, Triplett remains in custody at the Neshoba County Detention Facility. He will wait there until his court proceedings begin.
As with all criminal cases, Triplett is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
