NESHOBA COUNTY, Miss. (Queen City Newsfeed) – The Neshoba County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance in locating a missing man who was last seen earlier this month in Neshoba County.
According to the sheriff’s office, Joe Wayne Whittle was last seen in early July 2026 near his residence on County Road 610. Since then, family members and investigators have been unable to determine his whereabouts.
Authorities are asking anyone who has seen Whittle or has information about his location to contact the Neshoba County Sheriff’s Office immediately at 601-656-1414. Tips may also be submitted through the Neshoba County Sheriff’s Office mobile app.
Investigators said every tip, no matter how small, could be important to the ongoing investigation.
The sheriff’s office thanked the public for its assistance and encouraged residents to share the information in hopes of helping bring Whittle home safely.
