LAUDERDALE COUNTY, Miss. (Queen City Newsfeed) — The Lauderdale County Road and Bridge Department has announced temporary road closures on Vimville Causeyville Road this week as crews replace three cross pipes.
The road will be closed to through traffic Tuesday, Oct. 20, through Thursday, Oct. 22, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day.
The first replacement is scheduled for Tuesday in the 4937 block of Vimville Causeyville Road.
The second replacement is scheduled for Wednesday, Oct. 21, followed by the third on Thursday, Oct. 22. Specific locations for those replacements will be announced at a later date.
Motorists are encouraged to use alternate routes, reduce their speed and exercise caution when traveling near the work areas.
The department thanked residents for their patience and cooperation as crews work to improve Lauderdale County’s roads and bridges.
