Meridian-based Digio Strategies and its family of radio stations and digital platforms were recognized with multiple honors at the 2026 Mississippi Association of Broadcasters (MAB) Excellence in Broadcast Awards, celebrating outstanding achievement in radio and digital media across the state.
The awards, presented annually by the MAB, highlight excellence in broadcasting, production, and community engagement among Mississippi media organizations.
Among the standout winners was WJXM 95.1 The Beat, which earned third place for Use of Sound for its Meridian High School promo featuring the Meridian Wildcat Band. The station also received third place for Station Promotion for its “Back to School in Style” campaign.
In collaboration across stations, WJXM, WZKS, and WMOG earned first place for Public Service Announcement with their impactful “Let Us Feed A Family” campaign, demonstrating a strong commitment to community outreach.
Queen City Newsfeed, Digio Strategies’ digital news platform, also brought home several awards. The outlet received first place for Social Media for its engaging and informative online presence. It also earned second place for Continuing Coverage for its reporting on Meridian native Jamal Roberts’ success on American Idol. Additional honors included third place for Sportscast/Sports Program for “Football Feed with Queen City Newsfeed,” and third place for Multimedia for its coverage of the Blue Angels’ winter visit to NAS Meridian ahead of the 2026 airshow.
Other stations within the Digio Strategies network were also recognized. WJDQ received third place for Station Promotion for its “Q101 Thanksgiveaway” campaign, while WOKK’s “Hometown Country Morning Show” with Quinn Alexander earned an honorable mention in the Radio Morning Show category.
The recognition reflects Digio Strategies’ continued commitment to delivering high-quality content, creative programming, and meaningful community engagement across its stations and digital platforms.
