MERIDIAN, MIss. (Queen City Newsfeed)- Young Professionals of Meridian is offering three $2,000 scholarships to graduating high school seniors in the Meridian area for 2026.
According to the organization, one scholarship will be awarded to a student from the Lauderdale County School District, one from Meridian High School and one from the private or homeschool community.
Applicants must be graduating seniors in the Class of 2026 with a minimum 2.5 GPA. Students are required to submit an ACT score, complete three short-answer questions and provide a letter of recommendation from a school or community leader. Finalists will be invited to interview.
Eligible students must attend school or reside in the Meridian area and plan to enroll this fall in a two-year, four-year or vocational program.
Applications must include student information, a transcript and a letter of recommendation. The deadline to apply is March 31, 2026.
