MERIDIAN, Miss. (Queen City Newsfeed) – Singer-songwriter Steve Forbert will perform at Meridian’s historic Temple Theatre next month during a benefit concert aimed at supporting restoration efforts for the landmark venue.
The concert is scheduled for Friday, Aug. 14, and will feature Forbert, best known for songs including Romeo’s Tune and Goin’ Down To Laurel. Special guests Anthony Crawford and Savana Lee will also perform.
Proceeds from the event will benefit the ongoing restoration of the Temple Theatre, one of Meridian’s most recognizable historic performance venues.
Doors will open at 6:30 p.m., with the concert beginning at 7:30 p.m.
