Company celebrates its customers, provides educational opportunities for families
Gulfport, Miss. – The Mississippi Power Foundation has partnered with Mississippi Aquarium to launch Mississippi Power Discovery Days – a new program where Mississippi Power customers can visit the aquarium for half the price.
Mississippi Power customers can receive 50% off their general admission tickets for up to four guests between Feb. 16 and March 9.
“Our commitment to our customers goes beyond providing reliable energy. The Mississippi Power Foundation is here to collaborate with partners that strengthen our communities every day,” said Mississippi Power Foundation Executive Director Steven Dick. “Our continued partnership with Mississippi Aquarium gives children and adults alike an opportunity to discover the importance of conservation and natural science – keeping the next generation interested in the wildlife and ecosystems that make southeast Mississippi unique.”
Customers from Mississippi Power’s entire service area are eligible for the discounted ticket price. Families can also participate in customer appreciation giveaways on Mississippi Power’s social media channels and learn energy-saving habits around the aquarium.

Mississippi Power customers wanting to take advantage of Discovery Days can present their Mississippi Power app, Mississippi Power Discovery Days promotional email or bill insert to the aquarium’s ticket office at time of purchase. Guests can enjoy the Discovery Days ticket discount as many times as they’d like during the program window.

Opened in August 2020, the Mississippi Aquarium is the state’s aquarium and a nonprofit organization dedicated to education, conservation, and community.
